Eligibility
Who can apply
- HawaiiUSA primary members with their own account, in good standing, and 6+ months of membership.
- Hawai‘i DOE professional or paraprofessional educators.
- Emergency hires and substitutes are not eligible.
Award details
- Funding varies based on number of applicants and available funds.
- Goal: All eligible applicants receive some funding.
- Selection decisions are final.

If you took professional development courses in 2026, you may be eligible for tuition reimbursement through the Educator Stipend!
- Applicant must be a primary member of HawaiiUSA for a minimum of 6-months.
- Applications will be accepted January - April 2027.
