Eligibility

Who can apply

  • HawaiiUSA primary members with their own account, in good standing, and 6+ months of membership.
  • Hawai‘i DOE professional or paraprofessional educators.
  • Emergency hires and substitutes are not eligible.

Award details

  • Funding varies based on number of applicants and available funds.
  • Goal: All eligible applicants receive some funding.
  • Selection decisions are final.

The application period for the 2026 HawaiiUSA Teacher Stipend Program has closed.

If you took professional development courses in 2026, you may be eligible for tuition reimbursement through the Educator Stipend!

  • Applicant must be a primary member of HawaiiUSA for a minimum of 6-months.
  • Applications will be accepted January - April 2027.
