No, you can access the Virtual Branch through our website without needing to download additional software. Any internet-connected device with a supported web browser, camera, and microphone (e.g., smartphone, tablet, laptop) is compatible.
Yes, a stable internet connection is essential for your face-to-face video experience to function effectively. You may be asked to turn on your camera and/or use various secure methods for verification purposes.
For your comfort and privacy, we suggest joining your virtual banking appointment from a quiet location where you can speak freely, and dress as you would for an in-person visit. For certain transactions, you may be asked to provide:
  • Valid government-issued ID
  • Account information or documentation
Physical cash and check transactions, trust account opening, business account opening, and notary. We are happy to guide you to an appropriate area who can assist with these needs.
Most documents can be signed digitally via eSign. However, certain forms such as IRA and HSA documentation may require a wet signature (non-digital). In these cases, you may:
  • Be directed to the nearest branch
  • Be sent the form via Digital Banking Message Center to print and mail or drop off at a branch

  • You will treat HawaiiUSA Federal Credit Union (the “Credit Union”) staff with respect and professionalism throughout the interaction.
  • Inappropriate, offensive, or abusive behavior (including exposing oneself, engaging in explicit acts, or threatening conduct) is strictly prohibited and may be considered a criminal offense under applicable laws, including potential felony charges and may also serve as grounds to limit your Credit Union services and/or expel you from the Credit Union.
  • The Credit Union may restrict, limit or revoke your Credit Union services, including your access to Virtual Branch services, and/or expel you from the Credit Union in the event of misconduct or violation of this disclosure or the Credit Union’s Code of Conduct or membership agreement.
  • This session may be recorded or transcribed for quality assurance, compliance, security and other lawful purposes.
  • Transcripts and recordings may be reviewed to support training, service improvement, investigation of reported incidents, or for other lawful purposes.
  • You are responsible for the conduct of any person who joins the session with or on your behalf.
  • The Credit Union reserves the right to immediately disconnect the video session at any time, without notice.
  • Not all in-person services are available via the Virtual Branch. Certain services, including, but not limited to cash transactions, wires, notary, and IRA account maintenance may require an in-branch visit.
  • You understand that technical issues, internet connectivity, or platform disruptions may impact the availability of the Virtual Branch services. The Credit Union does not guarantee uninterrupted access and is not liable for service delays, outages or other issues related to the Virtual Branch session.
