HawaiiUSA Federal Credit Union, the state’s largest credit union with branches on every major island, has been recognized on the 2022 Forbes list of America’s Best-In-State Credit Unions for the fifth consecutive year. HawaiiUSA is the only Hawaii credit union to make this prestigious list five years in a row. Only 3.4% of the more than 5,400 credit unions in the U.S. made this year’s best-in-state rankings.
“We are humbled and honored to be included on this year’s Forbes list of America’s Best-In-State Credit Unions,” says Greg Young, president and CEO of HawaiiUSA. “It’s uniquely special to receive this award in the same year we were recognized as one of Hawaii’s Best Workplaces by Pacific Business News because even during an economic rebound, our dedicated employees were committed to our members more than ever,” Young adds. “These accolades not only highlight our employees’ passion for their work, but it also notes our members’ fulfilling experience with HawaiiUSA.”
The Best-In-State-Credit Union award is presented by Forbes and Statista, Inc., the world-leading statistics portal and industry ranking provider. Surveying more than 26,000 U.S. banking consumers from all 50 states on their banking relationships, Forbes and Statista determined the best credit unions based on six facets of the relationship: Trust, terms & conditions (including reasonable and transparent fees), branch services, digital services, customer service, and financial advice.
