HawaiiUSA Federal Credit Union (HawaiiUSA), Domestic Violence Action Center (DVAC), and Blessed Life retail stores proudly launch the “Hope Collective,” a pioneering partnership that merges social responsibility with distinctive retail offerings. The Hope Collective showcases an exclusive collection of Blessed Life products, with proceeds directly supporting DVAC’s essential services for domestic violence survivors.
“HawaiiUSA recognizes the significance of community collaboration,” stated Tanya Lee, VP of Member Growth Services at HawaiiUSA. “The Hope Collective unites businesses and nonprofits to foster sustainable impact and empower survivors in pursuing financial independence.”
The Hope Collective is imbued with the spirit of “manaʻolana” (hope), featuring designs influenced by the ancient Ohe Kāpala art. Each design element narrates a tale of resilience, reflecting the collective efforts of Blessed Life, DVAC, and HawaiiUSA.
“Healthy families are the core of a healthy community,” remarked Ella Mojica, VP of Community Services at DVAC. “We appreciate the support from HawaiiUSA and Blessed Life in assisting survivors on their journey to safety and healing.”
"It is an honor as a local business to contribute positively to the community,” affirmed Shari Yamaguchi, owner of Blessed Life. “The Hope Collective highlights beautiful products and facilitates meaningful changes in the lives of those affected by domestic violence.”
Through the Hope Collective, HawaiiUSA hopes to restore financial autonomy to survivors, and by creating this opportunity, they help amplify DVAC’s mission and help more individuals on their journey toward freedom and self-sufficiency.
