HawaiiUSA and FHLB Des Moines Partner to donate $93,750
As a member of FHLB Des Moines, HawaiiUSA was eligible to participate in their Member Impact Fund, a grant program that matches donations made to community-based organizations. The Member Impact Fund is designed to help financial institutions like HawaiiUSA maximize the impact of local giving.
We submitted 11 non-profits for matching funds—and all 11 organizations were approved! In some cases, our donations were even tripled. Thanks to this partnership, a total of $93,750 in funding will be awarded to the following incredible organizations doing meaningful work across Hawaii:
- Adult Friends for Youth
- Aloha United Way
- Boys and Girls Club of Hawaii
- Catholic Charities Hawaii
- Common Ground Collective
- Domestic Violence Action Center
- Family Promise of Hawaii
- Hawaii Homeownership Center
- Interscholastic League of Hawaii
- Parents and Children Together
- Weed and Seed Hawaii
Each of these organizations represents a vital thread in the fabric of our island community. HawaiiUSA is honored to support their missions, and grateful that, through the Member Impact Fund, these contributions can go even further.
