How do I enroll in eStatements?

You must first be registered for Online Banking, our free Internet Banking service. To sign up for eStatements, log in to DirectLink via our website at http://www.hawaiiusafcu.com/. Use your password to access your account and choose "Sign Up for eStatements" from the Options menu.

Is there a charge for receiving eStatements?

The HawaiiUSA FCU eStatement service is absolutely free!

If I sign up for eStatements, will I continue to receive my printed statement in the mail?

By enrolling in eStatements, you agree to receive your statements electronically only. You will no longer receive your paper statement in the mail.

Will all of my HawaiiUSA FCU paper statements be converted to eStatements?

Your monthly and line of credit statements will be converted to eStatements. Your VISA statements (if applicable) will not be available via eStatements.

How will I know when my current statement is ready to be viewed online?

HawaiiUSA FCU (estmt@hawaiiusafcu.com) will send you an email to notify you as soon as your current month's eStatement is available. You may log in to DirectLink at any time during the month to view your current or past eStatements.

What are the browser requirements for eStatements?

To access eStatements, you will need either Microsoft Internet Explorer version 5.0 or higher, or Netscape version 6.1 or higher.

How do I view my eStatement?

View your eStatement by logging in to

Online Banking

from our website's homepage, our Internet Banking service. On the Account Summary page, click on the "Get eStatement" link.

How do I print my eStatement?

You will need Adobe Acrobat Reader version 4.0 or higher to view and print the PDF version of your eStatement. The HTML version of your eStatement can be printed directly from your internet browser.

Can I print my eStatement in black and white?

HawaiiUSA FCU eStatements will automatically print in color if you have a color printer. To print your eStatement in black and white, change your printer properties to print in grayscale or black & white. These settings vary by print manufacturer; please consult your printer's manual for detailed instructions.

What is the difference between the PDF and the XML version of my monthly eStatement?

The XML version of your statement is displayed within your internet browser. It contains the same information you are accustomed to receiving in your printed statement, but is formatted slightly differently. It also contains hyperlinks to scanned images of the checks that cleared from your share draft for the month.

The PDF version of your eStatement looks very similar to your printed statement, but does not contain hyperlinks to your cleared check images. This version takes longer to download, and requires that you have Adobe Acrobat Reader installed on your computer.

Some of the check hyperlinks in my monthly eStatement don't work.

HawaiiUSA FCU can not guarantee that all of your cleared check copies will be available through eStatements. If you need a copy of one of your cleared checks, please visit one of our nine branches or call our Member Service Center during business hours for assistance.

How many months of eStatements will be available?

Your eStatements will be available through Online Banking for at least 24 months, starting at January 2004 for monthly statements and March 2004 for Line of Credit statements.

Will I receive a payment coupon to make my monthly line of credit loan payment?

Since your eStatement replaces your printed statement, please print out your Line of Credit eStatement, tear off the top portion, and remit to the credit union along with your payment. As a reminder, don't forget to include your account number on the reference line of your check.

How can I view copies of my cancelled checks?
