HI Achievers

Each day Hawaii keiki overcome personal challenges to achieve success in their classroom and in life. Along with making a difference in our community, these students represent the bright future of this place we call home.

What is HI Achievers?
HI Achievers is a homegrown project which brings statewide recognition to deserving students, sharing their stories and inspiring more young minds to take action. Every other week, a new student will be selected as the featured HI Achiever on a Hawaii News Now Sunrise segment and presented with a $200.00 cash award from HawaiiUSA FCU to honor their achievements. HI Achievers also receive a unique opportunity to earn Certification in HawaiiUSA's Life Events Assistance Program (LEAP), which will train them in financial fitness and lifelong money management skills. Total prize is valued at $700.00.
