R. Scott Simon

R. Scott Simon was appointed to the Supervisory Committee in 2024. Scott is the Founder and Principal of Simon Leadership Group LLC, a leadership coaching and strategy consultancy. An attorney (inactive) and licensed civil engineer (Calif.), he served as Executive Director – Corporate Communications and Legal at Hawaiian Telcom and Associate General Counsel at Hawaiian Electric Company. Scott is active in the community, serving on the Board of Hawaii Literacy and having previously served as the Executive Director of the Downtown Athletic Club Hawaii and member of the Hawaii State Board of Bar Examiners. He was a Pacific Century Fellow (2004), named to Pacific Business News “40 Under 40” (2010) and Hawaii Business Magazine’s inaugural “25 For the Next 25.”
