High School Internships
Through our Academy of Finance (AOF) and Student Operated Credit Union (SOCU) partnerships with various high schools, a handful of accomplished high school students receive the opportunity to intern at HawaiiUSA.
During the summer, students gain real life work experience and are able to rotate among various areas within the credit union, which include; Accounting, Human Resources and the Branch System. For some, not only is this their first working experience, it is their first time earning a paycheck.
Through the University of Hawaii, Shidler College of Business MBA program, we offer select project based opportunities at HawaiiUSA. Each year, the senior management team recruits certain individuals to lead enterprise project initiatives that last between 10-15 weeks. The scope of these projects also enables MBA students to obtain the higher level of practical experience they will need to obtain a desired position within any organization.
