Enrollment Steps

  1. Click on the "Enroll Now" link above. 
  2. Enter your last name and 6- or 7-digit account number. 
  3. Check your email for message titled "Online Banking Security Notification." Copy temporary password and return to login page.
    Note: The temporary password is valid for 2 hours only. 
  4. Click on the red link, "Login with your temporary password." Enter your account number and temporary password. 
  5. Complete your registration by selecting a username and password. 



My temporary password is not working.

For your safety, temporary passwords are valid for 2 hours only. Once expired, you will need to request a new temporary password.

I did not receive an email with my temporary password. 

The temporary password will be sent to the email address HawaiiUSA has on file. Please note, it may take a few minutes for the temporary password to generate. Be sure to check your Spam and Junk folders. If you still have not received the temporary password, please contact our Call Center to reset it.

What’s my account number?

Your account number (also known as member number) is 6- or 7-digits in length. Please refer to the account card provided when you opened your account. Your account number is also listed on your personal checks (see below). This is the same number you must enter if you are enrolling into Online Banking as a new user and when you submit a Forgot Password or Forgot User ID request.



I received an error message stating, “Last name did not match.”

The last name you provide must match the account holder information HawaiiUSA has on file. Please double check that the account number and last name entered are correct. For Trust, Business, and Non-Profit accounts, please enter the account name HawaiiUSA on file within the Last Name field.

How many incorrect login attempts are allowed before I get locked out?

You have up to 3 login attempts to access your account before you are locked out of the service. If you are locked out, please select the Forgot Password link to unlock your account and reset your password.

Is there a time limit to complete enrollment after entering my temporary password?

Yes, you will have 10 minutes to complete the enrollment process after entering your temporary password. Do not use the browser Back button once you have started the enrollment process. 

What if I forgot the answers to my security questions?

If you are unable to answer your security questions, please select the Forgot Password link to reset the information.

I haven’t logged into Online Banking for over a year and I’m prompted to re-enroll. Can this be done online?

Re-enrollment is not currently available online. Please contact our Call Center to begin the process.

Will my Online Banking allow access to my HawaiiUSA joint-owner accounts?

Yes, you will have access to your joint accounts that are not blocked. After logging in, refer to the drop-down account number option at the top of the screen. Select which of your accounts you would like to view.

I am not a member of HawaiiUSA, but I am joint-owner on another individual’s account. Can I still register for online access to that account?

Yes, please contact the member listed as the primary account owner. This individual will need to set up a User ID and Password for you. Once set, you can log in to Online Banking with those credentials. 

How do I set up HawaiiUSA online banking access for non-member who is a joint-owner on my accounts?

  1. Log into your account
  2. Go to Settings and click the red gear icon (upper right corner of the screen)
  3. Select View Preferences and then Manage Users
  4. Select Add Access followed by Provide Security Code Access
  5. Select Available Person on Account(s)
  6. Create a User ID for that individual (see User ID requirements below)
  7. Create and confirm a password for that individual (see password requirements below)
  8. Select add Access to complete process

What are the requirements when creating my User ID?

  • Must be at least 6 characters and up to 8 characters long
  • Must start with a letter
  • Can contain letters and numbers only
  • Cannot contain special characters
  • Cannot contain any personal information (first or last name, SSN, birthdate, etc)

What are the password requirements?

  • Must be at least 8 characters and up to 20 characters long
  • Can contain most special characters
  • Cannot contain any personal information (first or last name, SSN, birthdate, etc)
  • Cannot reuse previous passwords
