Why did I become a Business Development Officer?

As a Senior Business Development Officer, I get to promote our Life matters commitment and reach out to our members, communities, and business with campaigns of financial education and consultative services. And it’s that promise to the people of Hawaii that’s allowed me to be recognized in 2015 and 2016 as Hawaii’s SBA Lending Officer of the Year. What do I do when not at work?

I enjoy spending time with my husband and our two dogs, Sophie and Roscoe. You can find me in my garden taking care of my collection of succulents and cacti, which make for some really great photographs. I also have a long history of volunteering with Maui’s non-profits including: Rotary International, American Cancer Society, Maui County Department of Water Supply, AKAKU Community Access TV, Maui High School Foundation, Hawaii Job Corps, Bailey House Museum, and the Maui Chamber of Commerce.
