What you'll need

IMPORTANT: To set up an External Transfer, you must be an account holder of the External (non-HawaiiUSA) account. You will need the following information for your External account:

  1. Account Type (Checking or Savings)
  2. Routing Number
  3. Account Number

 

Get started

  1. Go to the Transfers
    1. Desktop: Click “Add an account to make a transfer” in the Classic tab

    1. Mobile App: Click “Add Account

  1. Select the External Account option

  1. Select whether your external account is a Savings or Checking

  1. Enter the routing number for the External Account
  2. Enter the account number
  3. Confirm account number
  4. Enter desired nickname for your External Account
  5. Click Continue

  1. Complete the Confirm Identity prompt by verifying a code through 2FA App, Text, Email, or Call
  2. Once you set up the information, you will need to check your External Account for the 2 trial deposits and confirm it in Settings
    1. Go to Settings
    2. Select Accounts

    1. Click “Confirm” for the pending ACH account

    1. Enter the 2 trial deposits in the order it was received
    2. Click Confirm

How to transfer to/from an External Account

  1. Once the external transfer account has been setup, go to the transfers
  2. Select the account you want to transfer From
  3. Select the account you want to transfer To
  4. Fill in the details for the transfer (Amount, Date, etc)
  5. Click Send
  6. Check your Transfer history tab to monitor the status of your transfer

IMPORTANT: External transfers may take up to 3 business days to process. Please check back to your transaction history and transfer history to verify transfer payments
