Just 3.5% of the 5,236 credit unions in the U.S. made the list, and of those only five of Hawaii’s 52 credit unions were among them.

Forbes Magazine surveyed nearly 25,000 people across the U.S. to determine which banks and credit unions have the most satisfied members. Members responded about overall recommendations and satisfaction, plus five subdimensions of service: trust, terms and conditions, branch services, digital services, and financial advice.

This recognition is a result of our commitment to serve our members and communities. Every day, everything we do starts with you, our membership, at the heart of our work. But it takes more than just heart to adapt to changing times. We intentionally focus on the five subdimensions of service by providing fair and transparent policies, convenient and simple banking experiences, improved digital touchpoints, and trustworthy resources to navigate these rough financial waters. Earning your trust doesn’t happen by chance, and we do not take it for granted. We think the world of our members and couldn’t be more honored when you feel the same.
