Helping Members Become Successful Homeowners

HawaiiUSA FCU through its sponsorship with the Hawaii HomeOwnership Center (HHOC), would like to help you realize the dream of owning a home. HHOC is a local nonprofit organization that is a one-stop shop connecting Hawaii residents to the knowledge and resources needed to become successful homeowners.

For many families, clearing the financial, emotional and legal hurdles in purchasing a home can be daunting. HawaiiUSA FCU and HHOC are well aware of some of the more pervasive challenges Hawaii residents face in making their homeownership dreams a reality. The services offered a HHOC are designed to help residents overcome issues such as:

• Lack of knowledge about the home buying process
• Credit concerns
• and/or lack of a down payment

HHOC addresses these barriers through a low cost Home Buyer's Education program, which combines group seminars with personalized one-on-one counseling to help residents meet their challenges head-on. Additionally, HHOC and HawaiiUSA FCU are actively engaged in the development of loan products and saving incentive programs to help make homeownership more affordable.
